Online security is something we all need to be mindful of, especially when using public Wi-Fi.
Jumping onto that free Wi-Fi network at a café or coffee shop may be convenient when travelling, but every site you visit or key you press could possibly be intercepted or monitored.
A VPN, which stands for virtual private network, is a much safer way to use these public Wi-Fi networks. By installing a VPN service on your device, every bit of data sent or received when online is encrypted and routed through your VPN providers servers. Thanks to the VPN encryption it’s a far more secure way to use the internet and there are other benefits to, such as the ability to spoof your location.
